Does PMS require any special hardware ?
No, Any pc or laptop with bluetooth enabled. Else, you can purchase any Bluetooth Dongle.
Any recurring cost ?
No, All messges sent via Bluetooth is FREE.
Why recurring cost is optional and recommended ?
We will improvise the PMS version to cater to the new technology and mobile phones. As such, we highly recommend software updates. This is optional.
What Bluetooth stacks does AXON MEDIA PMS support?
We support both WidComm and Microsoft stacks.
Which Bluetooth dongle can I use with AXON MEDIA PMS?
Usually, if you have a computer with Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher, there is a very long list of Bluetooth dongles that will work with PMS (Under Microsoft Stack).
But if you want to buy a specific type, we recommend our Long Range Bluetooth Transmitter XRange2000 or the small range Trendnet Bluetooth dongle or EZURiO Bluetooth dongle. They should work perfectly.
Can I capture mobile number of the people detected by bluetooth ?
No, The system detects the MAC address and send to their respective mobile phone if bluetooth is enabled and switched on.
Can this work on iPhones ?
No, we will update on later versions when iPhones are bluetooth friendly.
Is it legal for bluetooth brodcasting in Singapore ?
Yes, since the option is given to the recipient to accept, it is 100% legal.
What operating system does AXON MEDIA PMS Supports ?
All windows operating systems. MAC is not supported, to be launched in Q2'2010.
